Data Deletion Instructions

This is the public User Data Deletion Instructions page for TexBite. It may be used as the data-deletion instructions URL in the Meta App Dashboard.

1. Submit a request

To verify ownership with the least additional data, send a WhatsApp message from the same phone number used to place the order to +961 3 150 340. Start the message with:

DATA DELETION REQUEST

Include the participating restaurant or branch and, if available, an order number or approximate order date. State whether the request concerns selected records or all personal data associated with the number.

If WhatsApp is unavailable, email rawadmkhbr@hotmail.com with the subject Data deletion request and include the same limited information. We may ask you to confirm the request through the relevant WhatsApp number. Do not send identity documents, passwords, card numbers, bank details, or unrelated sensitive information.

An authorised restaurant manager may use the same contact routes and identify the restaurant, branch, and whether the request concerns the manager profile, configuration uploads, or both.

2. Verification and response

Rawad Mokheiber is responsible for coordinating deletion requests. We normally verify control through a message from the relevant WhatsApp number and may ask for a limited order fact already known to the requester. If the number is no longer available, we will agree on another proportionate method rather than request unnecessary identity data.

We aim to complete a verified request within one week after verification. We will confirm completion or explain the category, reason, and expected duration of any lawful limitation.

3. Data covered

After verification, we search the live Service for records linked to the WhatsApp number and, where applicable:

• delete or irreversibly anonymise customer, delivery-address, cart, order-note, and contact data;
• delete expired ordering sessions and raw inbound and outbound WhatsApp payloads that are no longer lawfully required;
• delete or anonymise manager profiles, sessions, test access, workbook uploads, and audit data where permitted; and
• coordinate the request with the relevant participating restaurant and service providers.

The selected restaurant may hold its own copy of an accepted order for fulfillment, accounting, food-safety, consumer, or dispute purposes. We will route the request to that restaurant where appropriate, but the restaurant is responsible for its separately controlled records.

4. Limited retention and backups

We may retain a minimised record when required by law or reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or legal claims. Where possible, direct identifiers are removed and retained data is restricted from ordinary operations.

We keep a minimal deletion-request audit record—request reference, verification method, scope, decision, completion date, and any legal exception—for up to one year after completion. It does not include an unnecessary copy of the request conversation.

Data removed from the live system may remain in residual encrypted backups for up to one year before normal expiry. Backup copies are not restored to ordinary use; if a restoration is required, the deletion request must be reapplied.

5. Stop future WhatsApp processing

You can stop using the Service and block the relevant business in WhatsApp. Blocking the business or deleting the chat on your device does not automatically erase records held by the restaurant or TexBite; use the process above for deletion.

The Service does not currently use Facebook Login. It therefore provides public instructions rather than claiming an automated Meta data-deletion callback.
